Nelson Hotel The

This is definately one of the few Sydney pubs that hasn't been dolled up with plastic wood, faux hibernia etc. The bar remains a real Sydney pub bar, the lounge has a deco charm. PubSpy also found the beer is excellent, wine reasonably priced, service is always friendly and efficient (order and pay at the restaurant counter, but after that they look after you admirably). The back bar as you walk into the dining area is quaint and cosy and great on a winter's evening.
