The George has always been regarded as a live music venue and, in more recent times, has provided a multitude of musical acts ranging from your standard pub cover bands to dub, reggae, jazz, blues, 20 piece big-bands and even Celtic choirs. Outside you will find the new covered beer garden, live music stage, gas heaters and wood fires to keep you warm. The newly renovated 'Squires Square' is a hit in summer and combines bench seating, tables, a private stage and fountain. This area is a popular private space for functions. Highly Recommended.
