You can't visit Cooma and not pop into The Alpine Hotel. It is one of PubSpy's favourites. Great range of drinks with eight beers on tap and the fare is always excellent. A more relaxed environment can be sought in their child-friendly lounge area which has a cosy, country feel complete with open fires. Budget accommodation Snowy Mountains with rates starting at just $65 per night. The service staff are polite and friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly Recommended.

The Alpine Hotel license was originally held in Kiandra. After a fire, the license was transferred to Cooma in 1938 and the Coach House Inn was built - eventually renamed the Alpine Hotel
